News from the Region Board

Do you know who is on the Region Board?

This section of the site contains feedback (called Australian Connections) following Region Board meetings:

Each year the Board produces a publication to be used by clubs as a promotional tool to assist with recruitment of new members. The publication, titled the Confident Communicator, is given to club delegates when they arrive at Annual Conference with the strict intent that it will be given to visitors as a taste of how they will benefit from being a member. They are placed on this page so you can access and print copies to assist with your recruitment program.

Have you received your Gazette? The Gazette is now available on the Region Website and will be placed here as soon as it becomes available. This is a new initiative resulting from the increasing cost of printing and publishing.

Membership forms

Have you paid your membership dues for 2006 to Club, Council, Region and International? Then, the forms listed below may be of assistance. The forms can also be obtained from the ITC International Website in the Resources Section of the Member only area.

Writing Contest

Interested in competing for the annual writing contest? Why not demonstrate how the pen can be mightier than the sword. Your success could be celebrated at Region and Convention in Brisbane in July.

The deadline for submissions is 1 March 2008.

Speech Contest

The highlight of the speaking year is the annual speech contest. Club members compete for the honour to represent their club at Council and then to represent the Council at the Region Contest. The pinnacle of the competition is then to compete against members from all over the world and to be crowned International Speech Contest Winner.

The following instructions are provided so members and visitors know the structure and organisation of the contest.
